The Title I'm Most Proud Of

Four weeks after returning to work from maternity leave, an unexpected organizational change brought me back onto the job market. It wasn't the return I'd planned for — but if motherhood has taught me anything, it's that resilience isn't something you build in the easy moments.

As working parents, we become expert adapters. We solve problems before breakfast, navigate uncertainty with grace, and show up even when we're running on very little sleep. The skills that motherhood strengthens — prioritization, empathy, composure under pressure, relentless determination — don't stop at maternity leave. I bring these into every meeting, every project, and every team.

So here I am. Hopeful. Determined. Ready for what's next.

I'm bringing years of experience building partnerships, growing marketplaces, leading strategic marketing initiatives, and driving business development — along with a real appetite to contribute to the right team.

In the meantime, I've been building something of my own — and soaking up some much-welcomed extra time at home with my baby (it goes even faster the second time around with two under three). I even got to perform at the House of Blues, Anaheim with He Is Legend, a band I recorded with at the start of my indie rock era. Some chapters don't close, they just pause. Happy Mama started as a way to document this season of life — the recipes, the beautiful chaos, the fun of raising littles in LA — and is growing into something I'm genuinely proud of. Building this community has put every skill I love to use: creating content, developing brand partnerships, and sharing my journey of motherhood in a way that resonates. It's reminded me why I love building things from the ground up — and sharpened my instinct for what makes an audience trust you.

Careers, like parenthood, rarely follow a straight line. Sometimes an unexpected turn leads to exactly the opportunity you didn't know you needed.

And to every parent navigating an unexpected career transition: your experience matters, your resilience is an asset, and your next opportunity is out there.

No matter what title I take on next, I'm most proud of the one that changed my life: Happy Mama.
